We live in a world filled with strife, doubt, and confusion. Despite our best efforts, we often question ourselves — and question God. What is my purpose? Why is there so much evil? Does God really care about me? Why do bad things happen to good people?
We go to church, stand up, sit down, sing the songs, and try to be good people — yet our lives can still feel lacking. We wonder, are we alone in all of this?
Third Rail Theology exists to create a forum for honest discussion about how Christianity speaks into life today. As the name suggests, our aim is to provide a safe environment where judgment gives way to authentic, practical, and Scripture‑anchored dialogue.
We are a Christ‑centered community where no topic is “out of bounds” — a space where believers and seekers alike can explore real‑life issues in light of the sufficiency of Scripture. Through both pastoral and lay engagement, we hope to help people move from abstract ideas about faith to a living, 24/7 relationship with Christ.
Our desire is to take the mystique out of Christianity and reveal its transforming reality — to guide individuals toward the Living God who restores hearts, relationships, careers, and priorities. Here, faith is not distant mysticism but a personal encounter with Jesus that meets us in the here and now.
“Real talk, grounded in living faith.”
The Third Rail team is composed of ministers, theologians, and laypeople — sinners in need of a Savior — who believe that Christ lived the life we could not and died the death we deserved. From that humility, we seek to offer scriptural guidance in the spirit of grace and truth.
What we are not: a debate board or a platform for political argument. This is a place where individuals can share questions, thoughts, and concerns anonymously and without fear of judgment. “Touching the third rail” is not only permitted — it’s encouraged.
